Hi everyone
We are measured on the amount of email addresses we gather from patients. Trouble is, there is no way of "proving" that we have asked a patient if they decline or do not have an address.
A report can be run to check how many were taken, and in the audit log that the information was updated, but that's it.
Help!
Good Afternoon
The simplest answer would be to use a marker to say that the patient has been asked.
An alternative is to use a user field and create the answers as a LIST to show the following
1. patient was asked and gave an address
2. patient was asked and declined to give an address
3. patient was asked and does not have an email address
This link will show you how to create User Fields if you are not familiar with them
Kind regards
Alison
We made a marker, but that didn't help. I've just done the user field thing. Can you run a report for that?
Good Afternoon
Yes just create a query and add the user field (the user fields are right at the bottom of the list of fields) and you can then search for how many have answered the question with whichever of the answers you put in the List.

Alison
