Is there a way to send an SMS if an appointment has become available on the day to people who are on the standby list instead of ringing them? Something like 'this appointment has become available, please contact us to book it'.
Thank you for your question, it is not possible to send an SMS directly to patients from the standby list, but it is possible to go to any patients comms tab and send them an SMS.
So when a slot becomes available you could manually go to the patients record and send them an SMS that asks them to contact the practice as a slot has become available.
