Version 8.0 update and children only registrations

Hi, with the recent, Version 8.0 update and children only registrations, we are unable to send for EDI if there is no treatment required. Only for capitation patients. We were in formed a week ago that it would be looked at by the level 3 team. No word so far. Main concern is for new patient s to the practice who do not require treatment. At the moment we cannot get them registered via EDI.

Please can this be addressed immediately

Thank you

Annibale

Re: Version 8.0 update and children only registrations

Hi - we have been informed that this problem will be fixed in next release around end of March - But we have also found another problem which reported - the issue is with any claims which were rejected due to no referral reason being entered are now stuck in rejected state - you cannot make them not ready and enter the the reason -

Re: Version 8.0 update and children only registrations

I never said July - March is when we were told - Claims where Items of treatment on referral carried out - In the Scotland you had to put in a referral reason in the schemes tab - if it wasnt set, the claim would get rejected asking for referral reason - These claims sat in rejected status cannot be re-sent due to the fault i highlighted.

Re: Version 8.0 update and children only registrations

Both of these issues have been reported to R&D, the 2nd issue affects rejected or sent referral claims where no referral was previously set beforehand, any new referrals produced while running v8 will be unaffected as the check warning will stop the claim from being prepared for sending until the required reason is provided.

We are sorry these issue's are impacting you In the meantime if you or anyone have any referral claims trapped in this state you should call into our Support Desk which can escalate this issue to our 3rd line desk and they will be able to insert the missing referral reasons to allow the claim to be resubmitted correctly.

These issues has already been addressed for version 8.1 which we are working on currently and which should be available to everyone early March.
