how to find month recalls for children and adults separate &postponed appointments month by month

Good Afternoon

For this you need to create a query that will find you the names of patients who have got their recall set to 3, or 6 monthly monthly.

To create the query:

• Create the new query and highlight the row 'that have certain attributes' click 'Specify Criteria'
• Scroll down until you find the attribute 'Date of Birth' and add it to the Criteria window
• On the operator column select the option 'is later than or equal to' (for children) or 'earlier than or equal to' (for adults) 
• In the 'Value' column click the Ellipsis and select the 2nd option (relative to current time) and make it 18 years (or 16). Click 'OK' to close this window.
• Scroll down until you find the attribute 'Dental Recall Period' and add it to the Criteria window
• Tick the ask column when the query is run it will ask you to enter the number of months you are searching for and you can search for those on 3 monthly, 6 monthly or 9 monthly recalls etc.
• Click 'OK' then 'Finish'
• Save the query.

When this query is run it will return a list of adult or child patients whose dental recall is set to the number of months you have entered.

To find the patients with postponed appointments month by month create the following query

• Select the option patients that have certain attributes and click 'Specify Attributes'
• Scroll down to the category called Appointments
• Select the 'Status' and set the Value equal to Postponed
• Add the 'Appt Date' twice
• Set one to 'Later than or equal to', tick the Ask Column and change the question to say 'Please enter the Start Date'
• Set the second to 'Earlier than or equal to', tick the Ask Column and change the question to say 'Please enter the End Date'

When this query is run it will ask for a date for both the beginning and end of your timeframe.
