Further to Stuart's answer, here are a couple of guides regarding Perio charting that may be useful.

Hi Leanne,

To chart a bleed or a delayed bleed on a pocket as part of the pocket charting, do the following:

  1. Click on the required tooth and probe point.
  2. Click Bleed (or Delay).
  3. A red icon will appear on the chart and the letter B (or b for a delayed bleed) will appear in the grid at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click on to the required tooth to continue charting the pockets.

Good Morning Deane,

If you are looking to practice Perio Charting then you can either create a test patient, or load up the Tutor version of R4. This can be done by navigating to your Start Button then All Programs>CS R4>CS R4 Tutor Version.

If you are just looking for more information on Perio Charting then you can click on 'Help' & then 'Help' again at the top of any R4 screen. From here if you click 'Search' and search for 'perio' you will get multiple perio related results.

If none of this is helpful and you have a specific question, then feel free to ask here!

Regards,

Stuart
