Conversation Starter: Which Sensei Cloud features do you like best?

As we continue to embark on this fresh new product, I find myself talking about features we've added with offices that are considering Sensei for their practice.  During these conversations I notice I talk about the appointment reminder feature a quite a bit, because it's one of my favorites! 

Which Sensei Cloud features do you like best, and why?

This may initially sound daft, but I like the patient search feature best, now some may think why does he like such a basic feature?

The reason being, it is available in every screen of Sensei Cloud regardless of the workflow the user is currently involved with. It makes multi tasking easy.

It also allows the user to search on a lot of different patient demographics which makes finding the patient really easy.

Couple this with being able to click on the patient's name to view their snapshot which gives all sorts of important patient information on that single click (and without loading the patients full record).

I find when I am talking to Sensei Cloud users I get excited about the capabilities and ease of the patient search and can tell they know why I am excited!

Listening to a webinar about Sensei Cloud yesterday AM, and have a couple of thoughts/questions, if you all don't mind:

 a)  The schedule looks very familiar ... I believe it's based upon SD Scheduler ... confirm?

 b)  Are there offices of converts of SD Scheduler to Sensei Cloud?  

 c)  Looks like it's got built in SMS reminders ... no need for 3rd party (ie, LightHouse360?)

 d)  I know it's cloud based.  That was major issue some months ago.  Did it include Sensei Cloud?

 e)  Does the Sensei Cloud have a Citrix component similar to the SD Cloud?

I'm intrigued (saw and demo'd the initial product some years ago), but at the time didn't have all the solutions available to migrate years, and years, and years of documents, images, etc, from premise base to cloud base.  Frustrated in that SD Scheduler will become a relic, a "legacy" component of like PMS products, as well as the lack of modifications and enhancements.

Just dropping in to answer your questions...

Yes.  Based on customer feedback we used some of the things clients liked best about the SoftDent Scheduler version when we designed the Sensei Cloud scheduler ... we just opted to leave the bugs behind.  😉 

 b)  Are there offices of converts of SD Scheduler to Sensei Cloud?  

We have offices that have converted from SoftDent, PracticeWorks, Easy Dental, Dentrix, Computer Age, Patient Base, OPMS, OrthoTrac and various other DPMS programs to Sensei Cloud, but I don't have any ready data that allows me to see if they were on the Scheduler version of SoftDent.  

 c)  Looks like it's got built in SMS reminders ... no need for 3rd party (ie, LightHouse360?)

The feature is called Appointment Reminders in Sensei Cloud - it can send SMS text messages to patients and allow them to respond and confirm their appointment.  Yes, it is included with our Sensei Cloud Blackbelt package without having to pay a 3rd party. 

 d)  I know it's cloud based.  That was major issue some months ago.  Did it include Sensei Cloud?

It did not.  The issue you are referring to was with our hosted solutions that use Citrix to function.  Sensei is truly SAAS based and as long as you have the internet and a Google Chrome browser, you can access from anywhere.  To date we have not had any issues with clients connecting. 

 e)  Does the Sensei Cloud have a Citrix component similar to the SD Cloud?

It does not.  See answer to question "d" above.

Yes, thanks I'd love to get the trial version and take a look ...

Again, I'm intrigued about the "Blackbelt" package.  It would be helpful if there would be somewhat of a feature by feature comparison.  Maybe the trial version will have some guidance.

Hello again, Dr. Cavola - sorry to have used potentially internal lingo that was unclear.  

When an office switches to Sensei Cloud they can select one of two levels: blackbelt or yellow belt.  As the name implies, clearly blackbelt is the way to go.  🙂  The difference as I understand it, is simply that blackbelt offering includes our eServices such as eClaims, eVerify, ePrescriptions, (and I think Digital Patient Forms,) etc. and yellow belt does not include these services.  

I'm tagging @cfishmem so he can have one of his team members elaborate further and get you setup with that trial database ASAP.
