Every year we release new training content in the Carestream Dental Institute ( www.carestreamdental.com/cdi ).  As content is released we will post it in the comments here, so be sure to follow this discussion to stay up-to-date on new training content released in 2019 for SoftDent. 

With an active support agreement, you can access a catalog of content on the Carestream Dental Institute (CDI). This recorded class is designed for all team members and provides an overview of new features in CS SoftDent software version 18. By the end of this class, you should be familiar with ePayments Secure, enhancements to Team Talk, Clinical Notes, and Insurance Payment windows, new print locations for Routing Slips, Place of Service List options, and the redesign of the Online Help. SoftDent: What's New Video v118

This recorded class is designed for all team members and provides an overview of new features in CS SoftDent Scheduler version 118. By the end of this class, you should be familiar with the new ePayments Secure service, enhancements made to Team Talk, Clinical Notes, and Insurance Payments windows, additional options for the Place of Service List, and the redesign of the Online Help. Running the Transactions for a Period Report Job Aid

This one-page job aid, designed for all front office team members, provides instructions for generating the Transactions for a Period report in CS SoftDent practice management software. This report details all transactions posted during a specific period and summarizes transactions by provider. It also shows how many adjustments were made, and you can select individual patient details/summaries and totals.
