Aging Report & Outstanding Claims Report

*Help Please*

My aging report totals and the outstanding claims report do not match...why?

Example: On the aging report, it states the total over 90days is $8468.60. When I go through the outstanding claims report it shows the total over 90 days is $1282.90.

- I have checked the unsubmitted claims and we do not have any. We actually check this daily.

- Also, on the outstanding claims report, I am aware that if a claim is resubmitted; the "day count" on the right is reset. I manually add up the amount 'estimated to the insurance' by looking at the DOS on the left. 

There has to be something else that I am missing but can't figure this out - Please help

When you run your Account Aging report, be sure to remove all exclusions. For example, remove all user codes from the exclude field. Also include all accounts with a zero balance and accounts with credits. Even though an account has a zero balance or credit, it may still have an outstanding claim.
