I just received a 2017 fee schedule for Dental Care Plus and have updated the Allowance Table accordingly. How does this update the associated blue books?
Hello leah! I believe when an allowance table fee is added or updated, bluebook entries are automatically updated. To view the updated entry, select a bluebook entry from the Bluebook entries for List window. The updated allowance table amount is displayed in the Allowed Amount field.

That is correct. The allowance table is designed to simplify fee changes or updates. When the allowance table is connected to the insurance plan on the coverage tab any changes to the table automatically updates the bluebook.
Thank you for the information on the Blue Book and Allowance Table. I have
updated the Table, but the insurance plans associated are not updated. Do
I need to re-index or something?
dmccrory tsalcido or d.canales could any of you answer Leah's question above? Looks like she updated her allowance table but the insurance plans associated with it did not update.
If the bluebook is still in the equation, check the bluebook to see if
it actually updated. If it didn't, it may still show the old fees until
it's updated. This would update the allowed fees in the bluebook for any
plan linked to that allowance table
