Close out year?

I am new to SoftDent this year, do we have to "close out" the year or do we just run the recommended "End of Year Reports"?

Hello Susan

There is no need to "CLOSE OUT" SOftDent for the end of year

but you should always mark your Day Sheet as final 

there is also 1 report that does not let you enter a date range 

I like to run this report in 6/30 and the last working day of the year , it give you a nice review of the last 6 months 

Simply click 

Reports 

Practice Management 

Practice Summary 

Click ok
