Does anyone use the Softdent eforms module?

We are thinking of starting to use the eforms in our practice and wondered if they have fixed the bugs with the system and if it is easy to use?

Thank you

Barb

We are not e forms users yet, but are on version 16.2.5.  Does e forms populate everything?  What if the patient entered incorrect info, like spelled wrong or something? Does it automatically update insurance info?  I have silly patients who think they have new ins, and when questioned further, they don't.  It seems e forms is only cool because I can send them a link to fill out a form and it will come back in a legible format.  Help, I don't want to be disappointed.

We have been utilizing E-Forms for about 3 years and it has worked pretty great thus far.  Only issues has been speed related post upgrading to Softdent ver 16.  But all in all pretty good product.

We have just (3 months-ish) started to use eforms. So far, so good. The only disappointment I can note is when a patient fills out the medical update, which for us is straight out of Softdent, it will not record the medications the person lists back into Softdent. I did call about this and was told it was because many people can misspell names of medications, etc. and the drug itself needs to be in your prescription list already. Otherwise, for standard forms this has cut down on a lot of printing.

Barb, our product manager, Jeff Urkevich , might have a good reference for you.
