When I file a claim to an insurance company that pays the patient, I get a popup that asks if I want to delete the claim. I say yes, it deletes the claim, and the treatment does not show up on the unsubmitted claims report.
If I say no to that question, how can I later delete the claim but keep the treatment from showing on the unsubmitted claims report.
Thanks!

Hello!
You can go to List (menu at the top of the main screen) > Claim to see every outstanding claim; find the claim you need, they are in order oldest to newest and you can search for the one you need by name or ID, highlight and click delete at the top, click yes to confirm. This will delete the claim and the procedures will not show up on the unsubmitted claims report.
Hope this helps!
Danelle
NOTE: if you select to cancel the claim rather than delete it, the procedures WILL show up on the unsubmitted claims report as if the claim was never created.

Danelle, your answer made me realize that deleting a claim is different than cancelling a claim. I can delete or cancel the claim when I'm viewing the claim from the patient's transactions. I just have to make sure I'm deleting it instead of cancelling it.
Thanks!
