How to rearrange rooms when a provider is off or working on their day off

I am using Softdent Cloud 16 with the classic scheduler.  We have a default book that is set up by day of the week to include dr's in the office on certain days.  Is there a way to change only one day to show a room assigned to a different provider without changing that room to that provider forever?  Example, My room 1 is assigned to Dr Toothman, he works m,t,w,f. He is taking off one Friday and another provider is filling in who doesn't normally work on Friday.  If I cange the room to the second providers name, it changes the name for that room on everyday not just the one day I am changing.  Is there a work around on this?

There is an option within SoftDent that allows you to create "BOOKS" for each individual provider (Doctors and Hygienist).   These 'books' can be customized to the providers schedule so you do not need to view any days that they do not work.  If the patient likes to see a particular hygienist then you can default that hygienist to the patient record and when scheduling that particular hygienists schedule will come up.

In our office we have multiple hygienists.  We have a room for each of them, even though they don't work everyday.  That way we know who we're scheduling the patient with.  Some of our patients like to see the same hygienist each time they come in.

Without creating too much work most offices will add a NOTE to that day indicating that Dr. Toothman is out and Dr. XXXX is filling in.  Place the note for the full day therefore you will be able to see the NOTE int he am and pm of that day.   I hope this helps.
