Between January 29, 2018 and February 2, 2018, some claims submitted through the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) may have been processed incorrectly. Claims containing procedure codes D0230 or D0350 with submitted procedure quantities greater than ‘01’ were potentially affected.
No provider action is required. To reduce the administrative burden to providers, affected claims will be automatically reprocessed. Reprocessed claims will be identified on your Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) with Claim Correction Code ‘99’, TO CORRECT THE PROCEDURE QUANTITY, EDI CLAIM HAS BEEN SYSTEMATICALLY REPROCESSED.
