Our patients are coming into our office with new Care Credit cards that are now Mastercard. We are unable to run the new Mastercard Care Credit cards as Soft dent has not made the changes in their merchant services to accommodate the new Care Credit Mastercard, therefore not accommodating our patients or us, your customer. What we are told to do is to go on Care Credit website, manually make a payment on their site, print off receipts and then go back into Soft dent . Pull up the patients account, go to File, Practice, Default ADA and then change the 15 code to 0. Go back to the patients account and put 15 code into the transactions, post the payment, go back to File, Practice, Default ADA and change the 0 back to 15. If Soft dent is not going to be compatible with Care Credit and their new Mastercard, please let us know. If you are working on fixing the issue so we can run the care credit payments internally with Soft dent, please let us know the time that will be up and running. I know Care Credit changed their credit card and merchant configurations on their end, but we needing to know if you are planning on being compatible with Care Credit and their new Mastercard?
