The eForms version 1.0.4 for iOS v11 is now available.
iPad users can find the updated application by searching for "Carestream" or "Patient Forms" in App Store.
This version resolves prior incompatibility issues with iOS v.11
There have been a few reports of clients being unable to find the app. Just search "Patient Forms" or "Carestream" from the iPad in the App Store and it will be easily found.
Please Note: It may not be found if searching is performed via iPhone.
Configuring Patient Forms App with IOS 11
First make sure the iPad is using the private wifi, not the guest WiFi.
Setting up the newest patient forms app may require the server name to be entered in the iPad settings.
You may also have to configure the server port number. To do the server name, log onto the server. Then open the command prompt and type in ipconfig /all. There will be a preferred IP address, enter that address in the server name field in the patient forms settings on the iPad.
To access the settings on the iPad go to settings>patient forms.
The port number is listed along with the server address on the eforms config screen. Go to SD then to system>modules>eforms>configure eforms. The port number will be either 19560 or 19543. Enter the port number in the port number field in the patient forms settings on the iPad.
Restart the Ipad then try to access patient forms, it should now connect.
If the iPad is earlier than 4th generation, only the old app will be available, as the new app is not compatible.
Please Note: Searching for App Store on an iPhone will not yield any results, as this is is for the iPad only.
