Perio Charting

Jump to solution

Good morning...we have a quick question, if we are updating a patients perio charting numbers & the Dr. compares todays numbers to the previous ones taken, & say perhaps only 10 teeth today have new numbers, the rest are the same as the last ones recorded, do we have to input the full mouths perio numbers under the "new perio chart" tab, or is there a way to just update the 10 teeth that now have new readings? e.g is there a way to perhaps type over a previous dates perio charting numbers & just update the 10 teeth that have changed today & then the unchanged numbers will just carry into todays dated perio charting? Hope I haven't made this sound too confusing! Thanks.

to resolve the issue please try the following steps:

1.) Open the Perio Chart

2.) Click on the "New Perio Chart " Icon

3.) From the history drop down under "date of exam", select the previous date perio chart and change the numbers readings that needs to be changed.

4.) Switch back to today's date from the history drop down.

5.) You will be prompted to save changes , click Yes

a new chart with today's date will be saved showing the newly added\modified readings along with all previous readings from the selected old perio chart

hope you find this useful
