Spring Cleaning *
Our office has just completed our first year of using the SoftDent program and I want to do some spring cleaning, a little early. My insurance staff has not been able to successfully delete a claim from the system that has been sent in for pre-authorization thus we have a lot of outstanding claims that need to be deleted, please help!

Fee = Amount that will be paid by the insurance carrier
Claim = the preauth claim
Note = Patient Co Pay

For pre determinations they can be closed when the preauth is received. If they are not needed and the claim has been processed you can delete the pre auth's. List claims/ the pre auths are blue use the delete key it is very quick.
There is also a second way but you need to be careful because this will complete actual claims you may NOT want completed in the same date range. Under insurance, choose resubmit or delete by age and carefully select the range before running, let me know if this works for you.
