When opening a patient chart the default view is treatment that's been done in-office (blue), and if you add outside work that will show up as well (green), BUT it doesn't show you what's remaining in a patient's treatment plan (red). You have to manually select that, which is crazy. Pending treatment should always show up when a patient's chart is opened, so that hygienists see it, as well as assistants, doctors... everyone seeing that patient should know there is pending treatment. Other software programs have this set as a default, and the fact Carestream does not is just mind-boggling. How is it helpful to see work we've already DONE, but not work that is pending???
I like to use the "Overview Tab" when entering the chart. It gives you a glimpse of everything happening. And at the far right side - Treatment Plans (#1, #2, #3) - and if any are currently scheduled.
@MG777 -
You have a point, but you're asking for the "visual chart" to represent the treatment plan. However, since EVERYTHING in Softdent is transaction based, all you/staff members need to do is click the Treatment Plan button, and the instead of the visual chart, you have the treatment plan transactions listed, from which you can do many more tasks related to each and individual or group of treatment plan items.
