eforms

Hello:  We are using eforms and have successfully gone paperless.  Is anyone having problems with the patients complaining about putting in social security number to log in?  Sometimes it ask for the last 4 which is not a problem but when asked for the entire # patients are complaining.  Is there a work around?

Thanks

Re: eforms

There is no work around. The only option is to get their Social security over the phone on the initial call if you want to avoid adding it via the form. Otherwise it is required for authentication and security purposes.

Re: eforms

Yikes, I thought SD only asked for the last 4!  Now,  I understand why some patients are reluctant.

Re: eforms

Yes it does ask for the last 4 digits of SSN, if it's already on the patient record.  If it is a new patient and the SSN is not on the record, then it's going to prompt for the entire number. Remember it's updating the patients record with this information as not have to type it in or fill out paperwork when they come in.
