fail to generate appointment list

I have follow the below instruction to generate the Appointment List for specific period

*To run the Appointment List report:

1. Select Reports > Recall/Appt > Appointment List. The Output Options window is displayed.

no matter how I change the time period, it cannot generate an appointment list.   it keeps saying " no appointments"   please advise

Check all options: Maybe, In the Provider Entries section, do the following:
Click the drop-down arrow to select the Provider from a list, or leave 999 to report on all providers.
Type an appointment length, or leave 0 to report on appointments of any length.
