issues with the scheduler

PROBLEM WITH RANDOM and reocurring  APPOINTMENT BLOCKS APPEARING IN THE SCHEDULE not made by staff members.

What version of SoftDent do you have?

Block Slots can be copied into the future, all block slots can be removed in the future if you would like to start fresh.  Support can run a utility to remove your blocks for a date range.  You can also adjust security rights and select who can Block/Unblock.

Hi. Thank you for your response.
 However, I have tried, to know avail, removing, moving, deleting, canceling and moving the blocks (into the future or ANYWHERE), and it is not possible. Though the blocks are in the calendar(no patients name), No matter what you try to do to them, this pop up appears....
 "appointment not found/ may have been deleted by another User" 
 
All users on this computer have to access the "block/unblock" function.
 
This has been an ongoing problem for years, but we've always just been able to delete these random blocks. Now, we cannot.
This problem is (and never was) something created in this office. It is a system error. It seems to me there should be a simple solution.
If only I knew what!

Hello Rose & Myra

Make sure to Run the missed appointment Report daily!  This will take care of the blocked slots issue.  

  1. Click Reports 
  2. Click Missed Appointment Report
  3. Click Print Preview
  4. Click ok
