I came across your question and I wanted to drop you a quick response. TSYS operates processing services in many different types of business, ranging from restaurants and free-standing kiosks to larger healthcare systems. While I would not be able to comment on how they provide support across all of these business types, I can comment on them as a processor for our ePayments business and the service level expectations we share together as partners.
As part of our service level agreement, TSYS maintains a dedicated Carestream Dental customer support team that has a deep understanding of our oral health practice partners, which they have developed over the past 10 plus years. You are wise to do your diligence and so I will let other members of the community provide their experiences as well. I will tag our account manager from TSYS mdowling and you may feel free to ask her any questions that may come to mind. DPMS PRODUCT LINE MANAGEMENT
We are using them and I haven't had problems. Be aware they are not chip card compliant. They are working on this (I am told). Our problems with running credit cards are with Softdent (looks like there are duplicate fees run on the receipt). We are told there is a utility that needs to be created for this but this has been months in the working and nothing yet.

We have had a positive experience with Tsys. As mentioned above, they are not chip compliant yet, but they do offer you a type of coverage in case fraud were to happen, in other words they compensate for it. They are good about reviewing/adjusting rates when approached.
