How can I chart impacted teeth as existing in SoftDent?

Jump to solution

Some patients of ours have impacted wisdom teeth. How do I chart those existing impacted wisdom teeth in SoftDent?

Thank you.

In the charting module, there is a "conditions" toolbar on the Restorative tab of the chart.

On this toolbar, select the other conditions button.

From the other conditions list, double click to select how the tooth/teeth are impacted (horizontal or vertical).

Click on each wisdom tooth to apply the selected condition.

Select the save button at the top of the chart.

Hope this helps!

The picture provided above (how the tooth/teeth are impacted) doesn't show up in our SoftDent. Every time I click the Other Conditions button, it only shows the word Impacted. When I highlight that word and double-click, nothing happens.

Even though the list is not showing in our SoftDent, I informed my boss about the information you guys told me. Thank you.
