SS# on Treatment Plan

From time to time we print the treatment plan on the patient's chart so that they can get an accurate picture of the treatment plan. We have had a patient complain that their ss# was at the top of the paper when we print it. Is there a way to take off the ss# when printing so it just prints the patient's ID# rather than the ID# and the SS# for security purposes?

Re: SS# on Treatment Plan

Hello Karen,

Thanks for contacting us. I ran a few test within Softdent and was not able to replicate your issue. I was unable to see a social security # at the top of the treatment plan. I will be glad to contact you by phone to obtain more information if needed. Please let me know.

Thanks

Robert

Re: SS# on Treatment Plan

Hello again Karen,

I was actually able to replicate your issue after further research. The only way to remove that SS # is to temporary remove the social out of the patient information screen.

Thanks

Re: SS# on Treatment Plan

Thank you for your help Robert, unfortunately that's not a great fix. I hope SoftDent can come up with a permanent resolution.

Thank you!
