If someone inputs address line 2 on their registration, it converts in with a comma which is an invalid character when you go to submit claims.
We have PBHS forms that come thru our web page and we don't get invalid characters. by chance is the # sign. If it is you came remove them when you are converting them
Ours inputs with a colon, which also isn't valid. Haven't found a way to fix it other than noticing it and manually doing it.
have you mentioned this to PBHS yet? They should be able to look directly at the fields in the PDF or in the actual source data for these special characters.
Good afternoon Tara,
Thanks for contacting PBHS Support! We were able to locate and test your current Registration form's Apartment fields, and currently the apartment field will only include a colon in the Registration form if a patient types a colon into this field. As there is no way for us to prevent patients from typing a colon in this field, you may wish to contact WinOMS/Carestream to determine if this is an issue that can be addressed within their software. (The same applies if the colons are being added to patient submissions after integrating into the WinOMS software.)
I hope this information proves useful to you! If you have any further questions for us, feel free to call our direct Support line at 888-840-0739 from Monday - Friday between the hours of 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST, or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time and we will be happy to assist you as best we can.
