Anesthesia log should automatically be available as a claims attachment for electronic claims. Instead I have to print it, scan it as a PDF, then do screenshots to make them jpgs, then attach to the claim.
Tara, it's not as great as a direct-to-jpg format would be, but a cheat that could at least help you save on paper and scanning time is this:
When you go to Print the anesthesia record and the print dialog screen pops up, change your printer to "Adobe PDF". This lets you automatically save the clean image to a PDF without actually printing and scanning.
To get your JPG without doing screenshots, you can directly change your PDF to a JPG by selecting File > Save As > Image > JPG.
I hope this is helpful!

It actually cuts off the edges when you save it directly to a PDF.
I agree, what you suggest sounds like a great enhancement.
And based on your current workaround, you might be able to save at least two steps by just saving the scanned image as a .jpg -- you should have the flexibility in the scanning software to select the "output file type."
In the meantime, I'll also try to figure out how to update your account on the Idea Exchange and give you some more votes!
Hi Tara, That is a great suggestion for our Idea Exchange. If you log into the customer portal and share your feedback with other customers and product managers, it would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately I’ve exhausted my votes on Idea Exchange so I can’t publish more feedback in Idea Exchange.
