It default to blank and rejects under some insurances if not filled out. Since 90% of what we do is in our office how to we get it to default to our service facility and then we just manually change it if doing the case at a hospital?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If these are paper claims then you can create a forms Designer rule to automatically default the service office and npi to boxes 32 and 32a respectively. To create a rule in WINOMSCS
Select Utilities > Forms Designer. The Forms Designer Manager window is displayed.
Click New. The Forms Designer wizard is displayed. The wizard screens enable you to perform the following tasks to customize a form - click Next
Once the rule is active it will need to be disabled so that the facility that is select during the posting process prints on the paper claim. To deactive go into Forms designer and uncheck the active box till teh claim has been printed then reactivate.
You can add your office as a Service Facility so that it can be attached during posting which can help if getting eClaim rejections.
I hope this helped
