Issues importing templates to WinOMS

Hello,

New user trying to set up templates for our office. Been trying without success to import templates from a friend's office and keep getting routed to the following screen.

None of the office logins work. Carestream insists this is a question for our local IP but I don't believe this is correct. Can anyone shed any insight into this or other ways to import templates? Thank you!

That is a message from Windows not Carestream or WinOMS.  That is saying the user who is logged in doesn't have local permissions to install/import/use CSTookKit.exe.  You will need to enter a user with administrator rights.  At our office, end users do not have permission to install or change programs so I see this screen often and since I am an admin, my username/password allow program to continue.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the reply! I actually had this thought after posting. Unfortunately no one in the office knows what the admin username or password are 🤦🏼‍♂️. Guess we'll keep working on it

It looks like computer is part of domain call mypractice.  Does anyone know the domain admin password?   That should work on computers that are joined to domain.

Thanks for the reply, Rich. Unfortunately no one seems to know that. I joined the practice just recently and was not part of the setup. No one even seems to know who to ask about getting that information. Would it be our tech company that set up the whole Citrix environment, or could Carestream help out with that?

I was just doing a little looking around for something for my office and just got a similar message.

Notice domain says MYPRACTICE same as your message.  My domain isn't called MYPRACTICE so that is a Carestream message for me and only someone in their cloud server team could take care of that login.  WinOMS support wouldn't know that password.  So if your domain in your office isn't called MYPRACTICE then you would need help from Carestream to move forward.  Hope that helps

Do you have a server in the office?  Does anyone know how to log onto it?  Administrator is usually username unless it was changed.  Whatever password is used to get on that server can but used in that box on PC.  Is there local IT?  They should be able to provide domain admin credentials.  Good Luck
