Has anyone else been having issues when trying to print a document from attachments? It says Microsoft edge not responding and then I have to exit out every time.
We are in the cloud and having print issues on a couple PCs. You try to print but 'save as PDF' comes up instead. There is a second print command on the same screen "print using system dialog" that does work as expected. Try this and see if it works for you.
Carestream changed how attachments open with the new Azure environment. They used to open directly on the local PC but now open with Edge in the cloud environment. I was told by support it was always like this but that is not true. There have been more issues with attachments since the migration.
We will sometimes get the print to PDF option when trying to print. Usually this is after first logging in and it seems as if printers weren't mapped into the cloud yet and then a few minutes later we print again and its fine. But back to attachments.
Our attachments have always opened in cloud and not locally. I just went to Patient Workspace-->Attachments-->Documents and double clicked. It brings up No Preview box and I click to Open. It opens in Adobe and I can print. If your document is opening in Edge, you can change that by opening Adobe Reader from the Citrix Store. If you have WinOMS 9 icon on desktop, click on the Citrix icon down by your clock. You should be able to find Adobe in all applications. Open it and there is option to set as default. Try to open your document then and see if its any better.
Are you cloud or onsite? Is the file a pdf that you are trying to open? Are you able to open at all? If its a pdf and opening in edge, can you change default program to open pdf to adobe and not edge?
