Just wondering if anyone else has this issue at their office? 90% of the time when trying to enter in the DDS name in demographics or even the implant tab, OMS will freeze and kick us out of the system. We have talked to support many times about this, but we can either never duplicate it or the times we could, there isn't really an explanation why it happens. What we would like to know is it just something that happens here at our offices? Is it related to our computers in some way, or do other offices also have this happen??

Hi Kelli, one of our WinOMS R2 representatives will follow-up with you regarding this defect. Yes, other clients have reported this issue but its been a challenge to say the least determining the root cause. In the latest version, 9.3.1, this issue is addressed but not resolved as yet. Development created a logging tool in 9.3.1 to help with tracking the referral activity which would need to be installed on the workstations it commonly occurs on. Hopefully, enough information is gathered through this tool to help with a resolution. Meanwhile look to hear from someone to address this concern very soon. THIS IS STILL AN ISSUE!!!! I hope this resolved with the next software update because it is a pain! Looks like it has been an unresolved issue on the forum since 2018. Please tell me this is on the list to fix by the developers!!!
I feel like we had this issue at our office for a little while too. I believe our issue was fixed in an update a little while ago. We currently have version 9.2. What version of WinOMS are you on? In care you aren't sure, go to help-->about in WinOMS.
We are version 9.1. I will see when we are getting the update and hopefully that will fix it! Thanks for your help!
