Change Healthcare has mailed a letter to WinOMS CS and Orthotrac direct submitters informing them of the need to sign up for the Post Offices NCOA service. The NCOA is a national "Change of Address" database that reads the names and addresses in the statements file and looks for any address changes and corrects the address where applicable before it gets printed so that the statements gets mailed to the correct address. The provider's office receives a report that gives them the account number, the old address and the correct new address so they can update their records.
This is a benefit for the provider's office. On the question "What option do I choose"? Please choose option number 1 and complete the "Processing Acknowledgement Form" and return it to Change Healthcare.
Being registered for NCOA is already a benefit (costs less than traditional forwarding options) but is now a requirement to receive optimal postage rates.
