NEA Attachment

Is anyone having issues with NEA attachments not updating after creating an NEA attachment. In my eClaim Insurance Queue: I have created the NEA attachment, the claim states NEA Status In Progress. I right click and select update claim NEA status, which should populate the assigned NEA# to the individual claim. NEAFast Attach does send the attachment and per the NEA FastAttach website the attachment was sent but within WinOMS the status does not change from In Progress. I have spoken to Carestream Help and I was informed that this was an issue that was resolved with an update, but I have not have had resolution to the situation.

I have the same issue. My work around is to ignore the nea attachment and place it in the remarks then send. I too have been told it was resolved. Everytime I call to get it fixed it only lasts a few days or until the next update then we have to start over. Beyond frustrated since the Migration...

We have been having this issue for months, ever since we updated to the new citrix.  If you get a CS support person with knowledge of the fix, it usually takes 30 minutes for them to fix, sometimes multiple times a day.  They will have you delete all attachments, op notes, xrays etc.  They will do their thing & have you recreate all the claims attachments again.  They recommended sending each attachment/claim separately (instead of bulk submission) however that did not remedy the problem.  I have found if you delete all the attachments, then log out of winoms and citrix, log back in you can reattach & send.  That will usually work for a couple of claims, then repeat, but it is faster than waiting on hold & explaining the issue over and over.  If you need help, our office # is 410-770-3130 or email is  oralsurgery@goeaston.net  Good Luck!
