It would be nice to be able to prioritize desktops by something simple like 1,2,3. It would also be nice to assign them so everyone knows who is working on what. Also, dock notes need to be visible on the desktop/practice central so if someone is out ill dock notes aren't getting missed/not getting worked on.
Can you elaborate more on the prioritizing of desktops?? With the Dock patient feature, It is used as a personal reminder to accomplish a task. If you want all staff members to be aware of a task, Maybe creating a Contact Note with a Reminder date would be a better option for you? The Contact Note Reminder would show on the practice central. We already use contact notes in that way. What we are saying is if someone gets docked something, you should be able to set a deadline on it so that it will end up on the desktop in case the person forgets to do it, accidentally opens the dock then closes the patient which then means of course it's lost, or they are out sick and the rest of us need to get to it. This is especially true with the Beta for now as if you have a docked patient open then open another patient you lose the docked patient behind it(the system closes it out unlike the current system). We would also like to add categories to contact notes so we can prioritize what to work on. You could also assign a staff member to contact notes to reduce the issues with docks where they go away once you open them.
Gotcha. At this time we do not have the notification of unfinished, missed Docked notes. We are able to Run a Report under REPORTS > PATIENT > CONTACT NOTES.
You'll have the option to run by Reminder or Note Date, The Type of Note, and even Users.
