Is there a way to print something with all information needed for patients to file insurance claims themselves? It would need (at the very least): the procedure codes, charged amounts, diagnosis codes.

We print walkout statements for patients in this situation from the checkout screen. Just make sure to click include all transactions and include insurance information - that will print out the diagnosis codes as well.

We have a patient that we performed both medical and dental procedures on, on the same date. Is there a way to generate a walkout statement for only the medical codes? We filed her dental insurance but are out of network with her medical insurance.

Not that I know of. Everything posted for that date of service will print out. The only thing you could do is enter the medical codes first - print the walkout statement for the charges - and then enter the dental codes.

Can you inform me how to set up the walkout statement to include the diagnosis code?

As long as there is a diagnosis code on the charge line you entered it will automatically print if you check the include insurance information box.
