When a patient reschedules a confirmed appointment, the confirmed checkbox should automatically get wiped out so the patient gets all of the eReminder notices or Lighthouse 360 notices again.  We had a patient last minute cancel their rescheduled appointment because they only got the last minute text reminder instead of getting the confirmation emails, texts and phone calls again because their old appointment was confirmed.

Hi Tara, thank you for reporting this concern.  I can definately see where removing the confirmation checkmark is needed in the example given.  I will direct this to our Development team to get it added to a future release.  No ETA yet on when this will be addressed but I will start the process of reporting it via CS WinOMS Support.

Hello Tara,

Wanted to give you an update.  Ereminders go out based on the criteria that the office specifies for the reminder type. It does not notice any correlation between a scheduled appointment and a rescheduled appointment.  It simply sees appointments and handles them based on the criteria.  To view the critiria go to tables>eservices>configure other>click ereminders tab and then hit configure.  For example if emails are supposed to go out 30 days before the appointment and the client schedules or reschedules the appointment 5 days from now, they will not get an email. They will get a phone call 3 days before the appointment and a text the day before. Ereminders only sends reminders based on this setting. I did want you to know there is new Development underway for eReminders so I thank you for submitting your concern.  Hope this info helps!
