WinOMS help!! I was wondering if there is any way that a separate tab could be added for just insurance information on the demographics page? We fill EMR up with so much insurance related documentation that it would be better off being somewhere else. The doctors and back staff have to scroll through so much that to get to where they need to be. Is this possible? Any information or suggestions welcomed. Thanks!!
Hi Jenni. As of now, there is no way to add a tab in the patient's workspace screen. I noticed you said that you are filling up the "EMR" screen with insurance info? Are you putting insurance related notes in the EMR tab? I would suggest the contact notes in the workspace. You can add a note and choose the category as "insurance" for each insurance note which would make it easier to filter and find when reviewing.
