Last week Microsoft announced that they will be releasing ‘Windows 11’ late 2021.
As soon as Microsoft make development tools available we will be undertaking work to define compatibility with Carestream Dental products and will provide further information nearer the time.

Still no announcement about WinOMS CS is compatible with Windows 11.
Furthermore, Official WinOMS System Requirements for version 9.6.2 list MS Word 2019 is the latest supported version. Problem is that Microsoft moved to Microsoft Office 365 a preferred productivity software suite.
Again, Carestream is well behind and forcing us to buy old, outdated software with decreased support time from MS.

Microsoft has started to deploy Windows 11 operating system with new computers. Carestream Dental has teams in place testing our systems and actively preparing for this new operating system.
For the time being, customers who are adding new computers should load Windows 10.Timely updated communication will be provided, but until then please ask customers to postpone installing Windows 11, until Carestream Dental can confirm the compatibility with our products (Software, Applications and Drivers).
Today is January, 12, 2023, two months since your last update: you stated: "Timely updated communication will be provided"
I don't consider two months of no action as a "Timely update", meanwhile Carestream charged me two months worth of support fee.
WinOMS testing with Windows 11 has just completed today and is now approved for use for on-premise WinOMS customers with version 10.0.3 or higher or version 9.7 or higher if you are still on version 9 of WinOMS. We will update the system requirements with this new info soon. I'm going to also ask a member of our service team to contact you with this updated info to ensure you get it.
@rich_omsafw Citrix Workspace application/client (CWA) currently supports Windows 11. As long as an endpoint being used meets Citrix Workspace App (CWA) client current requirements and is running a current version of CWA, it will generally be expected to work since our hosted applications are actually running on our hosted infrastructure. Blockers to this general statement will be any systems where you are using peripherals or applications (like imaging) that run directly on the endpoint and might have their own compatibility/limitations. https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-workspace-app-for-windows/system-requirements.html is a good reference for Citrix Workspace App system requirements for windows.
I appreciate your frustration in this situation but you're replying to a post on a different application and one based in the UK.
I have reported this to the management team in the WinOMS application.
I am a US based WinOMS customer. Can I get an update on when Win11 will be compatible with WinOMS. Can cloud customers upgrade or is OMS Imaging not compatible either?
