Insurance claim already submitted, insurance requesting a dx code. I add the code thru the ledger to the procedure but it doesn't show on claim. Do I have to delete and reenter to resubmit with the dx code showing?
In our experience, we had to delete the current claim and recreate it. Then resubmit the new claim. We had issues adding a DX code to an existing claim. We didn't have to delete the charge in the ledger. Hope that helps.
