Field 25 on ADA form not going across to Delta Dental of Colorado

When it's not a tooth # but a quadrant/arch, UA, UL, LL, LR etc. it's showing up when I print preview the claim but doesn't go across when submitted electronically.  For UA it's showing up as '01' but Delta is saying nothing is showing up.

Hi Tara,

The ADA requires a two digit modifier for Box 25. Development did make a concession to allow Dental claims to print letters (quadrants) to show on the claim, however, electronically it will always go with the ADA requirement. View page 9.

Thanks Paula, but apparently the field is blank when it goes across electronically.

We have not had other offices to report this concern.  If you have denials due your concern, please send the rejection/EOB, the record and fields electronically the payor is requiring the two digit letter quadrant and Payor ID.  Support will review and submit to Development. Thank you

It sounds like the previous issue with Delta wasn't corrected? 

mczar‌ are you able to work with Tara to resolve this for all payers?
