I'm new to SD and helping out at this office due to front desk girl is out sick; what's the best way to use the tickler file?
I have one use of the Tickler. Along with the Tickler file, there is a
Short call tickler. If there are cases where patient need to cancel an
appointment and they are not sure of a reschedule time...Appointments can
be moved from the scheduler to the Tickler or Short - Call Tickler by
dragging and dropping them into the appropriate list.

To add to my last comment, after appointments are placed in the Tickler,
you can reschedule them from the Tickler
Softdent has a great help function that will help you understand the tickler option and how to use it. From your toolbar, click Help -> SoftDent Help.
Type "Tickler" in the search window:
Click "using the tickler"
