When it's not a tooth # but a quadrant/arch, UA, UL, LL, LR etc. it's showing up when I print preview the claim but doesn't go across when submitted electronically. For UA it's showing up as '01' but Delta is saying nothing is showing up.
The ADA requires a two digit modifier for Box 25. Development did make a concession to allow Dental claims to print letters (quadrants) to show on the claim, however, electronically it will always go with the ADA requirement. View page 9.
We have not had other offices to report this concern. If you have denials due your concern, please send the rejection/EOB, the record and fields electronically the payor is requiring the two digit letter quadrant and Payor ID. Support will review and submit to Development. Thank you
