On April 2, 2018 all Alabama dentist will be required to submit his or her claims electronically. We will also be discontinuing the mailing of paper remittances on April 5, 2018. The Provider eSolutions Representatives will be reaching out to selected providers that are currently sending a high volume of paper claims. We will be encouraging them to utilize their vendor/practice management system for claims submission, or to use our web portal. This outreach has already begun and will continue through first quarter of 2018. If they continue to send paper claims after April 2, 2018 they will receive a 'Return to Provider Report' (RPT) advising them to file the claim electronically.
