Newly posted transactions show on a patient's financial ledger with the wrong date (either a date in the past or a date in the future).
When posting transactions to a patient's ledger, OrthoTrac takes the time and date from the local workstation that is posting the entries. If the time and date are wrong on that workstation, then the entries recorded in OrthoTrac will have an incorrect time and date.
Please check all workstations in the office carefully to ensure the date, time, and time zone are accurate. Correct any workstations that are wrong. The date and time must match the date and time of the server; additionally, all workstations should be set to the correct time zone and the Daylight Time setting (enabled or disabled) must agree on all PCs as well.
Once the incorrect time and date have been fixed, OrthoTrac Support can run database queries to correct the wrong dates, if the daysheet has not yet been closed since the transactions were posted. If the daysheet has been closed, the dates cannot be corrected.
If the daysheet has not yet been closed, please contact OrthoTrac Support at 866-722-2567 or via email at OrthoTracSupport@carestream.com to have Support correct the dates on the invalid entries.
