According to the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), TMJ disorders affect more than 10 million Americans. The ability to properly assess osseous structures of the TMJ on CBCT can have an impact on diagnosis and treatment planning decisions. This course will recognize key anatomical features of the TMJ on 2D and 3D; demonstrate how to develop a systematic method of evaluating the TMJ on CBCT; and identify the most common pathologies that you can encounter in your practice.
