I need to change the schedules I have in Orthotrac, there are patients scheduled currently and I need the start time to be 7:30 am instead of 8:00am. We are on the cloud, can I do this from my station or does it need to be done by Orthotrac due to us being on the cloud.
I called but the tech hung up on me, and most of the time I find the techs are not trained well enough to help me anyway. It always gets escalated and that takes 4 days for response!

Good day Melissa ( @MelissaM2020 ),
I'm sorry you didn't get the support you needed from a call. I will reach out to your office shortly to go over the process. For others who may have the same question -- if you are using version 14.3 or higher of OrthoTrac, you just need to add the day again in Schedule Maintenance on top of itself with a new template that has increased hours. This feature was added in OrthoTrac version 14.3 to allow offices to change the schedule template without having to cancel the appointments on a day and reschedule it, but you can also use it to add hours to the beginning or end of the day.

oh that's awesome! I did not know that! Thanks!
Hi Paula ( @paularyfa ),
The process is fairly self-explanatory (just go to Add Days, select the location, new standard you would like to use on the day, and doctor like you would normally do, then select "Override Standard ON" at the bottom). The system runs a check to see if the new standard you want to apply conflicts with the existing day. Conflicting days show in gray. Days that do not conflict and on which you will be able to replace the standard show in green. Click on any days where you want to apply the new standard and they will highlight in blue as if you were adding them from scratch. Click "Assign" to apply the new standard and select Yes when asked if you want to replace the standard on the existing day(s).
If you have additional questions, let me know and I can get in touch with you.
Regards,
Phil Carter / OrthoTrac Escalations
Been there, done that. Is your calendar already preset to begin the day at 8 a.m. with patients already booked? I did (also cloud) and had to have Phil help me. He was an awesome help and expanded the time of my schedule for what I needed. He did it very quickly for us too. Moving forward, I changed the day templates to have greater hours just in case we decided to use them. If your calendar has slots earlier than 8 a.m. but not templated, you can modify the day by overriding the schedule and adding those appointments.
