How do are you indicating in Orthotrac when a patient requests to go by 'they' 'them' their' as opposed to him or her? We thought about doing a comment with an acknowledge but that won't show in the patient flow. Any ideas that are working at your office we would love to try!

Good day Dr. Fox ( @katiejane62 ),
OrthoTrac version 15.1.4.112, our current release as of this writing, does support the selection of an "Unspecified" gender for patients on the patient's main information screen. This is then used for the new ADA2019 insurance claim form, which was also added as of that version.
OrthoTrac version 15.1.5, our next release, will support the use of gender neutral pronouns such as they/them/their in AWPS letters as well. For the time being, the suggestion of adding an Alert to the patient's information screen is a good one to use.

Phil Carter / OrthoTrac Escalations
