Re: Charting an Implant Bridge

correct, since those codes have to be done through a custom button on the chart, it will not bring up the same pop up options that the main bridge button does.

If a system defined button is created by development for a future version of PracticeWorks, they would be able to make it behave similar to the Bridge button.

Would that be more of what you had in mind?

Re: Charting an Implant Bridge

Here's what our charting looks like for implant bridges and the associated codes that we have populated to choose from.  Does that help?

Re: Charting an Implant Bridge

From a user-friendly perspective, where the buttons work in a consistent manner (regular bridge vs implant bridge), that would make sense so please tag the appropriate person to initiate a suggestion for a future update.

Thank you for monitoring the discussions for our feedback. We all appreciate it.

Thank you Sonya.  That helps.  I'm going to try that out this weekend...

Re: Charting an Implant Bridge

Couple of follow up questions:
1. What is/are the "primary entries" with that button?
2. Do you chart extraction/missing tooth separately if part of the tx plan?

Re: Charting an Implant Bridge

1) I do not have any "primary entries" with this button.

2) Yes

Re: Charting an Implant Bridge

Thanks again. Is there any reason why we can't tack on an implant and extractions as optional procedures that can be checked off when applicable?
