Pworks working with Recall Max

I met a representative from Recall Max at the 2021 AADOM Conference. I was finally able to schedule the demo. I was SUPER impressed. Does anyone have any experience with the add on program? We will be leaving SolutionReach. I would love to hear your thoughts!

@joedindo I forgot to mention the fee. There is a one time set up fee of $199. At the suggestion from the the Max rep, we chose to go with the upgraded Platinum fee for the first few months. It is $495. It comes with a consultant and extended support hours. After a few months we will go with the standard plan.

2 weeks in and I am still impressed. I believe they are very eager to continue working with PW to better the program's functionality. The unscheduled treatment plans pull from PW but only from the last 12 months. The short call list does not pull from the Call if Sooner function but it is very easy to enter in Max. We check the caller if sooner box within PW but do not enter any appointment preferences or restrictions on a yellow sticky. Those preferences and restrictions are easy to enter in Max. (Day, time, preferred provider and any other notes) Our team is currently using the short notice list for hygiene only at this time.  I LOVE that feature because it is highly effective and frees our team members' time to concentrate on other tasks. I still feel like we are only using a small portion of Max so far. There is extensive training in the "academy" which goes into detail on how to use the program. I hope this helps. Feel free to email (denise@nageldds.com) or post on this forum with any questions.

@sonyap I learn so much from these forums. We have the same daily struggles. I appreciate everyone using the forum to help each other. It takes a village 😊. BTW, our team is still loving RecallMax.

I did an online demo with RecallMax and the system is quite impressive. They don't know PW very well so it took longer than usual but most of my questions have been answered. I'm wondering @nageldds  about how the unscheduled treatment list in RecallMax links with PW; is it through the actual PW treatment plans?  Also, I'm wondering if the short call list in RecallMax is connected to the Call if Sooner function in PW appointments? What are you paying monthly? They quoted me $395 per month which is a little high compared to the competition but I believe that it's way better than anything else I've seen primarily because of the PW integration and that great toolbar that sits on your desktop.  ReminderDental is a little less sophisticated but at a fraction of the price.

Are you using PracticeWorks?  If so, I was told by Solution Reach that their system does not work with PracticeWorks. You stated in your post that you are using it so I am curious how that can be.  I'm also not aware that RecallMax works with PW and you'd want to confirm that.  If it does, I'd love to know to check it out.

Yes, we are currently on PracticeWorks v10.1.1.44. SolutionReach does work with our system but support is terrible and the "real-time" is certainly lagging.

I met representatives from RecallMax at the September AADOM conference and was very impressed. I had a zoom meeting this week with Leslie. They have clients who use PracticeWorks. They are a month to month service with a free 30 day trial period. I really like the toolbar that sits on top of the PracticeWorks screen and all the functions.

I will keep you posted as we are moving forward.

@nageldds I am very interested to hear your experience with RecallMax if you sign up with them.  I just looked at their website and am particularly interested in being able to have new patients complete their paperwork online ahead of time.

I believe there is a $69 fee for unlimited forms on top of the monthly fee.

@sonyap We are less than one week in with RecallMax and I have to say I am impressed with the depth of the program. They have several working lists for our admin to work on (messaging/follow-up, short notice list for hygiene and restorative care, hygiene recall, unscheduled treatment, etc.) There is an admin dashboard so I can follow which admin is working what lists and their success rate of scheduling. There are several analytic reports. Very few kinks to work out and support is amazing. Integrating well with PracticeWorks so far. Lindsey Richardson (lindsey.richardson@recallmax.com) was my contact. Hope this helps.
