Route Slip information

This is just a suggestion for future versions of PW.

It would be nice to have the ability to customize the "Important notes" section of the Route slip.  Right now you can only choose to display the x-ray and referral information.  I would like to determine which information displays there.  For example, it would be helpful for our staff to see procedures that have time limitations determined by insurance companies (prophys, x-rays, flouride, etc).  With this information readily available, we can better estimate patient co-pays.

Currently, the closest you would be able to do for that is to use the yellow sticky notes and have it set to include on the route slip.   You can do this from the patient's clipboard, emp/plan, or insurance company profiles if it's going to be insurance-related information.  The Yellow sticky note's information will show up in the Important Notes section. 

--Keep in mind though that there is a space limitation and it will cut off anything that goes past the maximum number of characters allowed in that section.

@kpratt @jdowner @robertangus I can't even find where I can choose to display the xray and referral info.  Can someone help me with this?  I don't have time to sit on hold with an entry level rep while they research and nothing shows up in the help search menu in the software.

Referral information (professional and non-professional) does not get included on the route slips. If that information is wanted to be shown, it would need to be included in a yellow sticky that this set to display on route slips for that patient. 

If by X-Rays you mean when their last bitewing or FMS was done, that will be based on the information that shows on the patient's page 2 of their clipboard.  This information is based on when the appropriate code was used last on their ledger.

Good catch.  I don't think I have ever seen that setting myself and did not see the option at first look.  I'm glad to be corrected.  thank you
